Culture, vibrancy & warmth are certainly calling to us after quite a while in the mountains.
Looking for an adventurous time whilst being able to relax a little we’ve decided to pick Colombia as our next destination to experience together.

In fact, it’s my favourite country & after telling Adam all about it he cannot wait to visit too. The anticipation of experiencing a place that I love so much, together is just so exciting!
It Gets Better!
My love for Colombia & the talking about it when I returned to the UK probably drove most of my friends & family crazy, some of them however seemed amazed by my stories & now want to visit too, my friend Karlie especially who will be joining us for 2 weeks of our trip!
Knowing one of my best friends AND my boyfriend are about to experience the country that I love so much is just the best feeling ever & I can’t wait!!
The plan for us is to take it one day at a time & see where our travelling takes us. We discovered when travelling in Cuba, Mexico & Guatemala that we like to take our time to experience a place & not just rush through, so that’s exactly what we plan to do in Colombia.
When Karlie joins us the itinerary will be a little more fast paced but not too much so, as the three of us want to take the time to enjoy things together.
What We Would Like To See
Firstly mainly everything I saw last time as it was all awesome! So we’ll have some time in the cities of Bogota & Medellin as well as some time chilling in the jungle & trekking in Salento right in the middle of Colombia’s coffee region and will also explore Cartagena & laze on the Caribbean coast.
After this we have no solid plans but would love to experience the “Lost City Trek” as well as spending some time in Tayrona National Park & of course being adventure addicts we’ll be heading to San Gil Colombia’s capital of all things crazy!
We’ll depart Vancouver for Colombia on 20th October, which in case you can’t tell already, we are super hyped about! With views like this on offer though, can you blame us?
